Theory one was that it was made by the druids as a temple of worship constructed by the high priests of the celts built entirely for sacrificial purposes, its not known completely what the purpose of stonehenge is but there are many theorys this one was thought to be the most realistic theory of all of them. john aubrey was the first one with the theory about it being built for sacrificial ceremonys and that it was made by the druids, scientists have argued it was made 1 millenium ago. unfortuanatly in modern day technolagy scientists have proven it impossible being it was built 1000 years ago before the celts even inhabbited the area so it seems impossible but there are still arguements taking place that it was a druidic temple of worship.
